I stayed at Gilston Lodge three nights and I fell in love at first sight with this home. We were a group of 3 friends and Mrs Tish gave us two very spacious and beautiful rooms (one with a sofa and small table), so at the end we had more space that we really needed. I was shown upstairs to my room which was very comfortable. The window over the sink looked out over the yard - it was in the turret which was fun. There was a tub which I couldn't use, but not a shower. My final problem was that the door didn't lock. When I asked Tish about it, she said there were no other guests at the time, so not to worry. I laid my cane across the door at night... more
