We used this as a base for a Friday Night visit to River Cottage. We arrived late on a Thursday night and we were greeted by Beverley, who showed us to our rooms. The next morning we had a glorious view of the bay our friends had the room with the balcony. A very filling and tasty breakfast was served in the pleaseant surroundings of the front room (if you are blessed with good weather it can be taken on the terrace outside). Following breakfast we took the advice of our hosts and walked into Seaton and Beer before returning early evening to get ready for the night at River Cottage. After another wonderful breakfast we followed directions from Beverley and parked outside Lyme Regis and walked in via the coastal path. Again later that evening we walked into Seaton for an evening meal at Eyre Court Hotel in Seaton. It doesn't look much from the outside but the service and food are excellent value for money.
