As a regular and someone who has been coming to this place for years even before it was The Turtley Corn Mill I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at this place. The staff are always really friendnly and welcoming. Food is always great and reasonably priced. The setting is superb with a great  big beer garden at the back and there is even a small lake where by the little ones can go and feed the ducks. It is a cosy place and quite uplifting. I would certainly reccomend this place any day. more

We stayed for one night whilst touring South Devon and it very much lived up to expectations.

Turtley Mill is a gastro pub really, serving excellent quality food & good beer in an excellent & peaceful setting, with lovely gardens leading down to a duck pond. All the staff were friendly & helpful and the overnight stay we had was a pleasure.

Our room was of a good size, with an excellent bathroom with huge shower and a really comfortable bed with a duvet to sink into. There are only a few rooms so there is a coffee station on the landing, with 24 hour hot water and a choice of beverages, plus an 'honesty' SMEG fridge with wine and snacks. Everything was spotlessly clean and couldn't be faulted, breakfast included.

You could stay for longer and be very happy but it is particularly good if you are driving down to Devon or Cornwall and want to stop-over en-route as it is just off the A38. Make sure you book a table for the restaurant as well as your... more
