Visually stunning facility. Very large hotel which is fully enclosed. The rooms are first rate although it pays to ask for one with air conditioning. The hotel is an old building cluster and as such rooms are comfortable yet the internet links are weak and unreliable. This is a full service hotel with an adjacent golf course and plenty of... More

My sister got married here and it was a perfect place for everyone to get together! The staff are friendly, the grounds are GORGEOUS (she still has people asking about her wedding pics), the food was delicious and there are numerous pools to enjoy. There are lots of places for the family to hang out together, and big tables in... More

Was put in this hotel for a work meeting. The place is located at the remains of an old Hacienda. Was built in 1958, and it seems as if that was the last time money was put into it. Rooms are large but humid, with runmdown furniture and rock solid beds. Cleanliness is a strange word throughout. Food is poor,... More

The perfect place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Mexico City. The place is amazing. The very spacious central courtyard dating back to the 16th century with its waterfall and ancient walls exudes tranquility. We had a room with a private pool. The pool had a delicious temperature and is surrounded by very high stone walls... More

The hotel could be a marvelous destination resort!!!!!!!, as the land is abundant and green, There is a 9 hole golf course in full view of the eating areas and pools, spa, very nice lay out physical layout of the grounds. Especially overlooking the pools it is is very relaxing, save bugs that are also plentiful and you have to... More

My husband and I spent five days at this resort in March 2012. I am writing this review partly because the website does a very poor job of expounding the glories of this place. The history itself is breathtaking We were attending a friends wedding and were treated like royalty from start to finish. The staff was unfailingly polite and... More

My daughter and I had the pleasure of a whole week of R and R at this hidden paradise. I travel all over the world in many countries and every now and then you have an opportunity to find a wonderful little slice of heaven. The staff was so polite and helpful. Even when their English was not the best... More

Spent a weekend in this hotel. The hotel itself, an old hacienda, is pretty nice, but the rooms are way too old and spartan. The golf course is very nice and the outdoors are wonderful for a restful - forget-the-world type of getaway, but they really need to make the rooms nicer (maybe a larger plat screen TV, etc).

I had previously written a rave review for the hotel, and nothing changes that. But when I put "hit or miss" for the spa, that was misleading. The spa was not only disappointing, but downright dangerous. I came out sore with bruises from a "relaxation" massage, but thought I'd recover quickly. Six months and several orthopedists' visits later, I realized... More

I stayed at Hacienda Cocoyoc with my family. The Hacienda itself is nice and there are great features such as the old church, etc. But the room was really in bad condition. It smelt humidity, the furniture was from the 80's, except for the tv, there were nothing offered (no coffee machin, hair dryer, allarm clock, etc), what you can... More
