We've stayed here on our first trip to Italy in 2006, and loved it so much we made sure to go back this year. The hotel is a family business, a beautiful conversion of a former residence, and it is impeccable. The rooms we have stayed in are spacious, and the bathrooms large and well-appointed. But the best part is the restaurant! Fresh seafood is provided by local fisherman daily, and it is prepared simply and with great attention to detail. Great wines, many of them local. The service is absolutely incredible, the family are wonderful hosts, the hotel sits on a beautiful canal, and it is within a 30 minute drive of Venice! more
