I was in this hotel last week and stayed 3 nights. I had read the negative reviews here before but thought they might have been exaggerated. Well, they are not.My standard room was damp, smelling heavily. Towels were dirty, breakfast was poor and staff unfriendly.You would not expect this from a 4 star, would you? Day 1 of a TRAFALGAR TOURIST TOUR TO ITALY.Nice large room with spectacular sea view. Hotel situated on a hilltop overlooking the Gulf of Genea and the Ligurian Riviera. Except for the nice view not much of interest. Nice dinning room for breakfast, but very ordinary breakfast. En route for Pise,Florence and Sienne. more

We booked for 2 nights but left the next morning. The carpet was very dirty, the rooms were damp, the pool was dirty (rim around the pool) the breakfast was the worst I only ate crackers. Would never return. more
