We booked this hotel based on it's proximity to Munich airport. We were arriving for our first time in Munich late at night and had to find our way in our rental car to a hotel for one night before leaving for Italy the next day. The hotel is located in the village of Schwaig quite close to MUC airport. Our main reason for staying in the hotel was the 72 EUR/double rate and that it was newly built. We arrived late, the hotel and parking were already full and people kept coming.Check in was easy and fast. Room was very small just for a night... more

The Holiday Inn Express by the Munich airport is a relatively new hotel that has that new building smell. The rate for one night was about 79 euros. Opened end of March 2008. Basic but very close to Munich Airport. Secure 10 Euro parking if you have a rental car. 80 Euro price Included breakfast. more
