I was at White rocks from 21st May for a weeks break. I agree that the rooms are very dark, dingy and could do with a major overhaul. But considering the weather was so nice, we were only in the room to sleep. The hotel restaurant was very good and every meal we had there was of a high standard.... more

Two weeks at White Rocks during May 2009, excellent location, good food waiter service, although very understaffed during our stay, waited long time between courses. Very expensive drinks, from bars. Staff excellent. Hotels own beach poor, stoney difficult for a swim. Pool superb. Superior room very basic, needs update. more

Returned on 9th October after a lovely week, weather could have been better though, first 3 days we had thunderstorms and rain. Beach next to the hotel is beautiful, clean and when weather good, sea is very calm, very good for children. Bar on the next beach along from the hotel was great very friendly staff. The island is beautiful and the location is great, with the airport ten minutes away, the small town of Lassi with a few shops and bars etc down the road and the capital Argostoli a 6-7 euro taxi... more

Like most of the reviews here I think the place is fantastic. I was really surprised at how good the staff were and how clean the rooms and grounds were. It well exceeded my expectations! I can agree with the comments about the food, but then I think this is a problem as the hotel has a lot of package... more
