We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for two nights in November. The room was very nicely appointed with tea making equipment and toiletries. The B&B is an old farmhouse with stables. Our room was in the roof, large with a large bathroom, however it was very cold when we arrived at 4.30pm and we had to ask the owner to put the heating on, even though she know we were arriving. We had to get into bed to keep warm as the heating was not adequate for the large room, and needed to be kept on for longer. The second day we had to ask for the heating to be put on again when we came back at 4pm. The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked with good quality ingredients.
Overall a very nice place, but much too chilly in November.....would be better in the summer. Last thing..the gate would have been better lit up, as we had trouble in the dark finding the place, and the gate was always shut even when the owner knew we were arriving..not very welcoming.

Caroline and Keith run an immaculate B&B near Bicester (a short drive from Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Silverstone and the Cotswolds). The 18th century 'farm' is not really a working farm, but has a few horses and some friendly household pets. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well provided with cable TV, coffee/tea facilities. What sets them apart are the breakfasts. Not only is Caroline an excellent cook, but she is amazingly flexible and will try to make you exactly what you want from a full English breakfast to porridge/oatmeal. Keith is the other key ingredient to the breakfast as he is very willing to engage in lively conversation on a variety of topics, or he'll leave you alone if you so choose. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the entertaining discussion.

I would highly recommend Lime Trees Farm and would definitely stay with them again if in the area.
