We spent 9 days in Malta and then 5 at David & Jenny's B&B in Gozo and we so wished we had planned it the other way round (i.e. 9 days in Gozo). It's a lovely little island with the most amazing churches and coastal scenery. Qala, about 10 minutes by car from the harbour, is a delightful village with real villagers - not just tourists - and the locals are very welcoming. There are also a few bars/restaurants where you can get a reasonably-priced evening meal. David & Jenny's B&B is tucked away and wonderfully quiet (just what we needed after the Intercontinental Hotel in Malta where we were woken at 7.15am by building works!). Their B&B is in an interesting old stone building in the heart of Qala and is spotlessly clean. They have plenty of information available on Gozo and David can arrange a hire car, if necessary.
