The twice yearly 3 day jazz event held in November and again at Easter at the Wessex hotel is fantastic. You can stay BBE or just go to the Jazz Festival daily. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Wessex also holds a Jazz evening every 4 to 5 weeks.
