First the plus points: the hotel is clean, the food, generally, was excellent and the rooms spacious with a good sized bathroom. However...I didnt think the hotel catered for anyone staying more than 1 night. No cupboard space, only 2 drawers (1 half full with the hair dryer) and limited hanging space in the open, ie no wardrobe. Eating for our... more

3 night all inc. stay as part of package tour round The Lakes. This new hotel is located overlooking a football stadium, miles away from anywhere or anything in what looks like a retail park (with no customers). Easy parking. That said, twin room was very clean, comfy bed (but pillow bullet hard) tea/coffee/biscuits, flat screen TV,air con/great walk in... more

It is always difficult to find hotel during games at Old Trafford. The Arsenal game certainly was no exception. I was fortunate to find Park Inn in Leigh, and the hotel turned out to be the greatest bargain I have ever experienced! Top modern hotel for no money, and travel was no problem with the local bus to Manchester. I... more

Firstly, the cost of the room was £33.75 for one night, excluding breakfast. At this price, not a lot can be expected. However, the room was spotless, with comfortable beds (I'm sure I booked a double, however we were given a twin. The hotel was full so we couldn't swap), an amazing bathroom with a wonderful walk in shower, and... more

Ive stayed here 3 times so far, on every ocassion it has been almost empty. Great rooms, new, clean, well maintained, showers, towels, bed, bed linen everything, shiny and new. The place has no soul and no life, is dead and uninteresting. Some of the staff fit into this category also. If you want an absolutely pristine place to stay... more

We stayed here overnight shortly after it opened. For working in an almost empty hotel the receptionist was a bit snotty when we arrived. However at check out there was another lady on the desk who was really lovely and friendly. The rooms were immaculate, good sized bathroom. We had a room overlooking the car park on the top floor.... more
