Stayed in June and although it was not the first time, thought I must note that of all the Guest Houses in Scotland that we have stayed, from top to bottom, Peggyslea is the best by far. Warm friendly welcome, we enjoyed 1 nights stay on our way to the north of Scotland. Easy to find, lovely spacious rooms, free wi-fi. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended. If you like to see horses, the owner keeps some beautiful Clydesdales. more

Since we were charged 30 pounds per person every night, we weren't expecting anything grand or fancy. However, the rooms were gorgeous and very very large! Lovely accommodation to stay in. It was in a very peaceful area. All rooms were large, clean, well equipped. WiFi available. The beds were soooo comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - you could have too much of a good thing! Annette was very welcoming and a great host. Thanks very much. more

Purpose built bungalow in a peaceful location not far from Edinburgh. Huge rooms, very comfortable massive beds, lovely bathrooms (nice deep bath and separate shower), great fresh cooked breakfasts, very amiable hosts. Can't recommend it enough. We have stayed at Peggslea Farm B & B on several occasions. Friendly reception,large rooms,fresh cooked breakfast, very clean & great value. Do not confuse this with Peggyslea Farm House this is a different establishment. more

Mrs. Noble told us her father raises and sell Clydesdale horses to Budweiser. The house is beautiful, the setting quiet and calm, the nearby pub was wonderful and the location is convenient to Edinburgh and attractions such as the Roslyn Chapel Mrs. Noble gave us free use of her internet and was very helpful with local information.
