We met Mimi from Entertainment team the night of the All White Party and she took such great care of us before and and during the party. We also hung out with her tonight at the Silent Party and she has been amazing and such a great host. She made us feel welcome and like family. Definitely an asset to the team.

Hotel's Favourite
We are recently home from staying 12 days at the Grand Palladium Jamaica resort and Spa. It was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The Resort is absolutely gorgeous with all of its immaculately kept lawns and gardens. And the people of Jamaica are the kindest and caring in the world. People to mention are numerous as everyone is so friendly and helpful. Corita Martin is behind the scenes arranging everything for the rooms such as linen, housekeeping, and room assignments and does a superb job of all of that. Her assistant Dwight Spence followed up with us on a few occasions making sure that we had everything that we needed. Our gardener Dwight brought me some aloe Vera from his home garden for my sunburn. Garnett Somerville, the manager of housekeeping circled the huge property daily assuring that every room was properly kept as clean as possible. We always had more than enough linen with adequate towels and washcloths etc. Our bed was changed every day. Our room was kept very well everyday by Lacey. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. Andre who stocked the fridge everyday was great ….We told him what we liked and he made sure that we had that and some snickers bars!! There are 7 a la carte restaurants so you always had a choice of where you would like to dine or you could go to one of the 2 buffet restaurants. You don’t need reservations as there are so many restaurants to eat at the wait was at most 5 minutes. The one restaurant that you do need a reservation for is the Hibachi and there are 3 stations with different specialty chefs…. Rob Lee the head chef of the Hibachi is such an artistic chef and entertainer. Again these Jamaican people are so friendly and kind. It was so interesting to hear where they all came from and some as far as a 90 minute drive just to work at this resort. Kenute the head waiter at the seafood restaurant is one of them…. The staff all take such pride in their job as they know how lucky they are just to work at the Grand Palladium. There is a little guy called Tiny who gets up early to come and climb the 1100 coconut trees 🌴 on property to gather coconuts for the bar hut on the Jamaican side. He was there cutting the coconuts for you to drink the coconut juice which they say is very healthy for you. Everywhere you look there is a bar… and they made everything that one would ask for from beer to hummingbirds such a jamaican delicious blended drink. There are 3 different beaches to enjoy all cleaned immaculately with no seaweed. La Bribas is the main beach which you can snorkel at just a few meters from the shore. The Coral beach is just below the adult only pool and is for adults only. The Beach at Sunset Cove is huge with all of the water sports that you can do at no cost if it is non motorized. These include kayaking, paddle boarding, water bicycles and sailing on a hobiecat. There is Scuba diving available and you can actually do your Padi certification onsite. There are 2 jerk chicken huts which have the best jerk chicken grilled right in front of you… one is by the main pool and the other by the Sunset Cove Beach. There are 4 pools on site. The infinity pool is the largest in Jamaica. There is a child’s waterpark with slides and is a gradual walk out pool so it is excellent for all ages. There is an adult only pool on the Lady Hamilton side of the resort. And then there is a quiet family pool the Coral Pool on the Jamaican side of the resort. The entertainment during the day and at night is so entertaining and relaxing. They have Jamaican bands playing by the pool during the day and then internationally known steel bands and performers at night at the Infinity Bar. Last but not least to mention is Ms. Lou’s at the Infinity Bar where you can get specialty coffee, deserts and sandwiches… There is so much more that I could say but my one suggestion is Go to Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa and you will not be disappointed… you will have the vacation if a lifetime…

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and overall, we loved it! The property is absolutely beautiful. We were originally in a room without pretty views, but Tanesha from Amstar helped us get a free upgrade (we were promised a free upgrade based on availability since it was our honeymoon) to an ocean front villa! It was gorgeous! We had incredible ocean views, an outdoor shower, and a ginormous jacuzzi bathtub. It was the perfect honeymoon suite for us. The staff were friendly and not overly pushy with trying to get us to sign up for things. The photographer was the only one who was pushy. The food was decent. It is what you would expect from a resort that has to push out enough food in a timely manner for hundreds of people at once. I especially loved the breakfast. The scrambled eggs and french toast were amazing. The desserts were the only food that we consistently hated. They did not taste good at all. Things like cheesecake were served room temperature, which was not good. The restaurants were all right. We didn't like the Asian or steakhouse place. The Jamaican restaurant was the best. The seafood place had amazing sunset views, but food was average. We payed extra to have a romantic beach dinner and that was really nice. Chef Tyrone came out to personally greet us and ask how the food and service was. Danesia was our server and she was great. It was definitely worth the money and a nice touch to have on our honeymoon. The Jerk Hut had the best food. My husband LOVED it so much. The meats were so tender and flavorful. The drinks at all the bars were tasty. The only major complaint I have is that on our last night at the resort (Saturday night), they had a beach party with a DJ. The music was SO LOUD. We could hear every word from inside our villa. We figured the party would end by 10 or 11 PM considering it is a family resort with lots of kids, plus older folks too. But the party and loud music lasted until 1:30 AM!! It was terrible. If they had just turned the music down, it would have been fine. But it was blasting so loud like we were at a club. Unacceptable. Ultimately, that is what lowered my rating from 5 stars to 4. TLDR: great resort if you go in with the right expectations. Food is good but not Michelin Star level, which I wouldn't expect from a resort. Beautiful views, lots of pools and beaches. Great place for a honeymoon. Loud party on Saturday night was ridiculous. Tanesha from Amstar is great, go talk to her for booking excursions!

Overall it was a little above average, compared to other Caribbean destinations we have been to. Staff and food were ok, contrary to what others have said. We upgraded to a bungalow suite and it made all the difference! Buildings and landscape could use some work…all comes down to quality property management. We enjoyed our 6 day visit.

Seniors only gets buggy drop-off upon check-in. At check out, they do not send buggy to return to the lobby for check out, even though we waited for 30 minutes. There were 12 employees in the lobby wandering with 4 empty buggy's but no one came to pick us up. Both senior guests (84 yrs old), had to walk to the lobby from building #22. Quality of food is as others say, not very good. The beach access is only if you walk to Lady Hamilton and it is a very small beach. The resort has total 1058 rooms and beach is very small. If anyone wants to enjoy beach then this is not the right resort for you. You can enjoy you entire time at the Pool, this is the only place that you can say is good. So max 3 days stay would be enough to enjoy. If you stayed longer than you will be bored. Rooms are clean and looks nice as they have been recently renovated.

Daniel on the entertainment team guided our team to victory in the beer-drinking contest for St. Paddy's Day. He was awesome! Everybody had a blast! Daniel and the rest of the entertainment team work so hard to make sure that everyone enjoys their time here, ...and we are having a great time!

Loved the resort , beautiful spot, good family atmosphere and friendly staff. Service at the Mo'Bay was excellent. Coffee at Miss Lou's -amazing ! Morning live music at the Blue Lagoon was inspired and created a lovely atmosphere . Our favorite restaurant was the Steak House. Somewhat difficult to get reservations for a party of 6 but we managed and we enjoyed our meals. Inability to find chairs at the pool was annoying as so many were "saved" but no one showed up for the whole morning or afternoon !!! Activities around the volleyball court were varied and good.

We had a wonderful 4 night trip to Jamaica. But, it was wonderful for the sun and relaxation. The Grand Palladium was a disappointment. The property was in terrible repair. Public restrooms were particularly disgusting: peeling pain, dirty grout, door latches that were half off, and in one instance a toilet near the pool that had the flush panel removed so that there as just a pipe sticking out of wall (remained tis way for several days). The gym was in similar disrepair. The sole incline weight bench was broken and not useable. The free weights were crumbling. Our room was okay but because it was so worn, the bathroom felt dirty. The room had not been properly cleaned for our arrival: there were rings from glasses on the tables, and a DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING on a night stand. We were supposed to get robes but there were none; when we asked the maid she said we needed to call even thought she had them on her cart. Soap was never replaced and the soap dish was never cleaned. Service, in general, was the biggest disappointment. I have been to many Caribbean islands and have been to Jamaica twice before. We have always had friendly, attentive service. Here, staff just was not interested. Getting water or coffee (or even getting seated) the restaurants was difficult. Empty tables sat while people waited. Getting reservations to the a la carte restaurants was supposed to be through their app (which did not do much else). But, the app did not work. Each time we asked for help, we were told they were having isusues with the app) but kept being sent back t o it. The beach was beautiful but despite a no saving seats policy, all of the chairs were saved before 9 am but the beach was empty until after 10:30 am. The pool was 100% full by about 10 am too. In general, the biggest issue is things felt crowded and it felt like they were not set up for the number of guests. We had a great trip but will choose a different proprty next time.
