We were looking for a good quality, well priced hotel in the Tuxer valley for our honeymoon, and we were not disappointed. The Eberl family could not have been more helpful, anything we wanted was never a problem, they would often offer us extra helpings of food, which was always of a very high standard. There was a choice of menu (we were booked on a half board basis) and the staff would help with translation. We also had many complimentry shots of schnapps. The live entertainment on our first night was great (traditional Tyrolean performed by our hosts).
The rooms were basic but comfortable, and the ensuite shower room was good if a little small, the overall decor of the hotel was typically Austrian.
The staff were also helpful with information about local tourist attractions.
The only advantage for visitors would be to have a little knowledge of basic German, as few of the staff speak fluent English.
