I came up to The Highlands at short notice, to see various relations. I found this "gem" of a place to stay - Barbara is so helpful, the location is so inspirational and calming - and most of all, the bed so comfortable! I shall be returning, again and again! more

It was by chance that we stayed here. We were looking for 2 nights at nearby Serendipity B&B and, although they were full, they fixed us up at Graineag. What an amazing place, sitting surrounded by trees and a burn running through the garden. Barbara, the owner, made us very welcome. We felt relaxed at once and enjoyed our stay.... more

This is so much more than just a B & B. Barbara makes you feel so welcome, the rooms are contemporary, large, warm (underfloor heating!) comfortable with woodland and hill views from the windows. We had a glimpse of Billy the Buzzard at breakfast time (he's a regular visitor) where you look out over the stream as you eat your... more

it really feels at home. The room is large and clean, with very comfortable bed. The breakfast is fantastic and with nice view of the surroundings. But the most impresive part of our stay is the friendly hostess, who not only introduce us to typical Scotish breakfast, but also give us advice on where to visit. In addition, I enjoyed... more

Invermoriston is well located, in the centre of a triangle with Inverness, Skye and Fort William at its tips. Graineag is a few km. away from the traffic of the Invermoriston interchange at Redburn on the A887. It has an attractive, peaceful location surrounded by rowan and silver birch trees, adjacent to the burn. The Taylors welcomed me warmly to... more

Sadly we only stayed the one night, but Barbara made us feel very welcome. Graineag is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, by far. The modern bedroom and ensuite bathroom are large and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the whole house is spotless. The breakfast was fantastic and to eat it with the views of the surrounding... more

Spent one evening en route to Skye. Barbara is a doll! She really goes all out to make her guests comfortable and happy. The room was immaculate and modern with good storage and nice bath products. And it was a simple but exquisite pleasure to linger on the deck enjoying the stream and the birds in the morning. more

A very nice B&B immersed in nature next to the Loch Ness. I was there with 3 friends in 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 twin. The rooms was big and clean. The proprieter Barbara was very kind with us. Breakfast was very good, Barbara prepares for you what you want for scottish breakfast or continental. The room where we... more

Graineag is located in a beautiful area away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature and tranquility. The place is so clean you could eat off the floor, the rooms are fantastic and the showers amazing!! Barbara is a wonderful host, so lovely and attentive. I have stayed in really nice B&Bs through the years but this is probably... more
