An opportunity to stay in an historic Tuscan village in a charming building we feel is worth paying a little extra. All the rooms are charming - not in need of refurbishment just oosing character!! My husband and I stayed at Il Chiassetto, as it is presented as a bed and breakfast within the walls of Bolgheri village, a mecca for Italian wine lovers. Although it wasn't a complete let down - the building is very nice, the rooms are clean and the village is quaint - our experience there was way below our expectations.... more
