Three friends and I stayed with Cheryle at Pitgaveny for a week and all of us had a wonderful time. Stonehaven is picture perfect, and Pitgaveny was certainly one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at. My friends and I stayed at Pitgaveny bed and Breakfast for 5 days in August and we had a great time. The breakfasts were of excellent standard and very filling, and Cheryle would serve her homemade jams and preserves which are divine. New towels were provided daily and the rooms were very clean. I'm completely mystified at the couple of negative reviews for this fantastic B&B. Cheryle was a very friendly and gracious host. The room rate seemed most reasonable and the room was magnificent! We arrived in Stonehaven without accommodtion so booked through the Scottish Tourism Office late afternoon . Although we only had one night at "Pitgaveny" we were made feel welcome. Our room was comfortable and the full breakfast was most enjoyable. more
