Spent 3 nights here. Great location on the Plaza de Armas, big comfy beds, quiet, very hot water. Eduardo is super friendly and very accommodating. I paid around 40 soles for a single room with private bathroom.

I was looking at TripAdvisor for a budget place to stay two nights in Chachapoyas, and wrote to four hostals, including Revash. But only Janet from Amazonas responded, and she was very helpful in explaining situation in Chachapoyas and organizing tours (Kuelap and Gocta), with help of Carlos. I understood that all hotels there pool their clients on these tours...

I stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend. The location couldn't be better, it's at the "Plaza de Armas". I got a quite big and cozy room with a bathroom. It had a desk, a couch and a TV so it was really big.
I just give it 4 instead of 5 stars because they didn't had heating. I would...

My room was ok, I took the cheapest one without bathroom. The other are nicer. The owner is a nice man, open to learn some language and have a talk with you. Carlos the tourism agent is very helpful too. The patio in the middle of the hotel is charming. I liked sitting on a bench there.
We would have liked the option to rate this as "good" rather than the "average" we gave it, but the next option "very good" didn't fit either.
The hostal is a beautiful old hacienda with a courtyard central garden and the rooms surround it. Perfectly located on the main Plaza. Rooms were basic but clean. There was hot water for...

This place has a great location right on the main square. It was nothing to rave about wiht little character but it had everything you could need..... hot water, comfy bed, tv, clean, and the staff was very helpful in organizing tours. Although I would recommend not going through them because they charge more than going directly through other companies....

Hotels in Chacha are expensive, but Hostal Amazonas is offering a decent budget alternative in the center for 40 Sol (matrimonial with private bathroom). Most other places around the plaza charge 60 for rooms that don't offer much more.
The 40S room has no windows, just a little skylight above the door, so it isn't the kind of place you...

clean, quiet, and the cheapest place in Chachapoyas. Eduardo and the staff are great, would definately recomend this hostal.
We stayed at the Amazonas for 6 days in February. It only rained a day and a half and we were still able to do all the great day trips. Janet runs Chachapoyas Travel from this hostal and we made arrangements with Janet to not only see Chachapoyas but also Chiclayo, Trujillo and Tarapoto. She helped us arrange a ride...

We bumped in more or less on random - we wanted to get information about tours to surrounding archeological sights from a tour agency also located inside the hotel. The lady who runs the agency was on lunch break but Eduardo (who turned out to be the owner of the hotel) told us a bit about the tours and offerd...
