Only 25 Euro / night in average for three nights in a private ensuite room was cheap; good breakfast; very good location very close to Newgrange (3 minutes per pedes); clean. BUT: bed was not good, had no good sleep there; bathroom very cold; water took quiet a while to become warm because of the location of the room (number... More

Super stay! My daughter and i loved the lodge. It is the perfect overnight after a long flight. The service is outstanding! The staff was a tremendous help. Very cozy sitting areas with a sun room. Our room was very clean, nice size with a huge bathroom / shower. We enjoyed using the facilities to cook our own dinner and... More

I have just returned from staying at Newgrange Lodge for 3 nights during a school trip, the staff were very friendly and welcoming! The feel of the lodge felt like a home away from home! The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, the beds were comfortable the surrounding area of the hotel was quiet. Would definetley recommend staying at Newgrange... More

I stayed in the Newgrange Lodge recently on the eve of a family wedding. The location is fantastic, a stone’s throw from the world famous Newgrange site, with Slane a short journey in one direction and Drogheda in the other. The facilities were fantastic value for money with a cosy living area and nice clean modern kitchen. The rooms were... More

On arrival the place seemed ideal. Friendly staff, looked the part and was very close to where we needed. Myself and partner were visiting Ireland for a friends wedding. We got back after the wedding at about 3am to sleep, looking forward to getting up at 9.30 for breakfast. We were awoken at 6.45am by about 20 children above us... More

Wonderful accommodation at a great price, perfectly situated to the Newgrange Visitors Centre. The room was very clean, comfortable and warm with ensuite. The Lodge had several nice areas for relaxation and a lovely fire place. Breakfast was very good and the staff excellent and very helpful. Great value and highly recommended.

You may walk to the Visitor's Center from the Lodge, tour the center and take a tour of Newgrange Tombs. The Lodge is an upscale Hostel, with singles, doubles, and Dorm rooms, and a hearty breakfast include with your stay. I loved the sitting areas and the outdoor court yard. We cooked a dinner on the gas grill! Friendly, helpful... More

On our way to the Newgrange visitor center we noticed the Newgrange Lodge and decided to spend the night there. The staff was nice and helpful and we easily got rooms as it was off-season. The rooms were very tiny with very tiny baths (ensuite) but overall it was fine for one night and the price was good (about $66.00).... More

This quite large bed and breakfast accommodation is family-friendly and the perfect base for exploration of the sacred Valley of the Boinne with its spectacular stone-age sites of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. It is also convenient for the Royal Hill of Tara, and the monastic sites of Slane and Monasterboice.
