Norma and Peter provided a warm welcome to their lovely home. Peter hauled all our bags upstairs and gave us lots of dining options near the house. Norma fetched the eggs from right outside the back door and served a wonderful breakfast, complete with four home made jams. Helpful and accommodating, and providing the finest service imaginable. Highly recommend!

We arrived cold and tired after battling through snow whilst cycling the Way of the Roses. Warm and comfortable. Comfortable bed. Bikes locked in garage. Excellent breakfast. short walking distance to pub and restaurants which were recommended- excellent Bangladeshi.

We spent a few days at Prospect House B&B over Easter and had a great time, we will definitely be back. The rooms are really cosy and we even got a free upgrade to the superior room complete with sofa, flat screen and all mod cons. The hens outside add to the country feel and happily provided us with eggs... More

We stayed here on a short break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Peter and Norma were most welcoming on arrival and had put an anniversary card and chocolates in our room, which we thought was a lovely touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, a must at our age, and the room well appointed. We appreciated the settee to relax on... More

Freshly laid eggs from their hens for breakfast, great local advice on where to eat and drink, cracking pub right nearby and indian round the corner. Bikes stored for you. All a bunch of tired cyclists need! Ample parking too and very comfy beds. Having a little fridge in room, wine glasses and corkscrew nice touches...

Stayed here in early March with my husband and two friends whilst cycling the Way of the Roses. Had a very nice welcome from the owners. Good to have parking on site, and even better to have secure storage for bikes. The room was relatively small, but very comfortable and clean. We got some good recommendations for places to eat... We were made to feel very welcome by the proprietors. The B & B is in the town centre, easy to find and park up. The room was spotless and very comfortable. What made this B & B excellent was that it had some very nice little extras. Fresh eggs from their own hens, homemade marmalade, gooseberry jam and blueberry... More

Had a spontaneous trip up to Pateley Bridge on Saturday and decided to get a B&B and make a weekend of it. So glad we chose Prospect House! Turns out all the reviews were spot on, this really is a great find and great value with 20% off in low season. We took the larger room for £60 and it... More

We had a 2 night stay here and couldn't have chosen a better b & b. Great location with pleasant, helpful hosts. Especially nice to have homemade preserves with the wonderful full english breakfast that set us up for the day.
