We had a lovely stay in the hotel, the food was delicious and despite not being able to stay for breakfast we were given a really nice "packed lunch" to take with us for the day, something not everywhere would do and made us feel we were still getting our moneys worth! The rooms were comfortable and a nice size,... More

Sorry this review is a little late but we just had to express our thanks to Elaine, Michael and Jo for making our 2night stay at the hotel so enjoyable. We were there with 5 other couples and everyone said it was a wonderful stay. The staff were incredible nothing being too much trouble. Our rooms were fabulous the food... More

Great personal service, the odd faux pax with the food, creme brule was set solid and breakfast sausage was anemic, the pool looked small, but was great with a fab spa. Set in great grounds with beautiful views very short walk into Pateley Bridge. Overall very good

Thanks for your kind review and I note your comment about the Sausage, I shall back sure to mention this to our chef, he will grill the sausages off a little more in future. I can assure you though that the sausage wasn't anaemic, they are good quality butchers sausages. I was a little upset that you mention the creme... More

The windy road you take to get to this amazing hotel is absolutely breathe taking. As you approach the hotel you are immediately greeted with a smile and welcomed into a great hall with fireplace giving a glimpse of the charm still remaining when entering further into the hotel. Offered the tower room with views to die for, and a... More

I have never felt the need to review a stay before but had to say what a warm and friendly welcome we were given by the hotel. We were part of a group cycling the way of the roses and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was spacious with a wonderful view and the bed was very... More

Just spent three days with friends in an excellent hotel in a serene setting. The room was excellent with a wonderful view across the valley and the food was great. The hosts and staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Highly recommended. You've got to be a bit of a misery to criticise it.

Just back from a 2 night stay at the hotel with friends, where we enjoyed ourselves. The setting is beautiful even when it was raining, the welcome was friendly, offer of carrying our bag was taken up and the large room looked out over the valley. The breakfast ( which my husband always looks forward to ) was freshly cooked... More

We stayed as a party of 4 over this recent Bank Holiday weekend and had a lovely time. We arrived Sunday lunchtime to the glorious, but brief weekend sunshine. The owners, were lovely, very welcoming and to be honest I can't fault them. They have only been here a couple of years, but are very passionate about the building and... More
