For a three day island stay (our other island was Santorini), our family (boys ages 10 and 7) was looking for a low-key beach vibe for serious family time. Naxos fit our plans perfectly but with so many beach towns to choose from (ranging from extremely busy with no scenery to extremely scenic with no services), we chose Prokopios as it seemed to strike the right balance, and with good proximity to the other towns. In selecting a hotel, we passed over several higher priced and better rated properties in order to be beachfront. Liana Studios exceeded our expectations. The location on the beach was ideal. While the rooms are modest (you'll only use them only to sleep), they are far from cramped and very well kept.
