We stayed at Madhu for four nights. One night we stayed at the cottage without actual sea view but managed to switch it to a sea view hut for the last three nights. These cottages were just built and were located near the Sandy feet restaurant, but the Madhu restaurant was not far either. Because of the fact that they... More

Madus Restaurant has decent food, although the menue is not overwhelmingly creative. But what they offer, they do well. Also salads can be eaten here, no problems or worries about hygienics here. I loved the big lounge sofas in the front area of the restaurant, where you can spend hours for reading and letting the day pass by at ease. More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Madhu's beach huts for a week from the 17th - 23rd December. The hut is in a great location, right on the beach with amazing views. The hut was spacious and well equipped for a fantastic price. We even had hot water in our shower which was a bonus! The restaurant is really spacious... More

I've been working in India for four months and took this vacation to Goa for 8 days. Madhu arranged a taxi to pick me up at the airport and the owner welcomed me as soon as I arrived, but the congeniality did not stop the entire trip. The entire staff treats you as a friend and is always at your... More

Arrived in Agonda at Madhus. Stayed 1 nt in beachfront hut but had no more availability. Moved next door to huts I think owned by Shekhar (Madhus) brother. Think was previously called Dropzone but didn't have a name at the time. Beachfront hut was spacious basic but had everything you need. Located in central part of Agonda with shops etc... More

We stayed in April after the main season and found Agonda in general to be pretty tourist free, which was great after the bustle of north India. We got front row huts and they were good - big enough, with a mosquito net, bathroom was OK and clean (a little primitive but what do you expect in a beach hut?).... More

First off can I say Agonda beach is just stunning. We went there after a week in Candolim and the two just don't compare. When we arrived at Agonda we went to Madhu after reading reviews on here. The room seemd good and we paid 1200 rupees for the first night. We decided to look at others as we thought... More

Madhu huts are well situated in the middle of the beach (the South end wasn't as pretty or wide, & it's very convenient for the stalls that run behind the beach). We were lucky enough to have a front hut (they're in 2 rows of 6) with full open view of the sea & beach from the hut, & 2... More

I have stayed at Madhu twice now, we were so impressed the first time round that we booked our hut before we left home this year. We had planned to stay for 3 nights but just weren't ready to leave so stayed an extra 3 nights. The huts are basic but charming and have everything you need, they are right... More
