My recent visit to Sao Francisco do Sul allowed me to stay at two places - Hotel Kontiki and later at Hotel Zibamba. Though Zibamba scores over Kontiki in some aspects, Kontiki according to me is a better place to stay.

But this is a review about Zibamba.... so here goes -

Pros -

Excellent infrastructure - Zibamba is a professionally run hotel - large number of rooms on 3 floors - the hotel occupies the complete street - so I suspect they are a few buildings which have been connected.

Very clean, all rooms have air con, TV, wireless internet and a small balcony with a view of the street and the sea. Though the rooms are a bit small.

Breakfast is a good spread - usual continental fare... breads, juices, fruits, cold cuts....exotic teas.

Excellent location - In the middle of the Historic centro, the hotel is just next to the main throughfare of Rua Babitonga and the 200 yrs anniversary monument.
