We stayed only one night as we were en route to another part of Greece but we were so impressed by the antique charm of this lovely hotel. It's a wee bit hard to find, so set your satnav or be brave ... but it's in a lovely location. Dimos was very thoughtful and put up with our bags being... More

It's only feasible to stay in this guesthouse if you have your own transport, as it's about 10km inland from Eghio. The location is wonderful, and it's definitely worth the drive. The guesthouse is in a lovely old village house, which has uninterrupted views over hillsides of olives, cypress and vines leading down to the Gulf of Corinth, with the... More

This guest house (only 5 rooms) provides, comfort and cleanliness and a sense of Greek nature and hospitality. All rooms have panoramic views and good natural ventilation as there are enough windows. The breakfast contains several local products. It is approximately ten kilometers from the coast, but worth it.

The guest-house is located circa 10km far from the sea, in a very quiet village up on a hill. The building is an ancient typical greek house and the rooms are very clean and full of old beautiful furniture. The owner is very kind: he gave us many info about nice places to visit in the countryside. Wonderful breakfast, great... More

Our family of four spent one night at Gerofotis on the way from Athens to Patra. Although the place took some finding, it was well worth the trek and the moments of panic when we thought we were just lost on a goat track on a way to nowhere. The room was beautifully done, rustic and cosy, but with a... More

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in June 2012. The pluses: beautiful place, beautiful view, great breakfast, screens on all the windows so no mosquitoes, wonderful porch, nice homey local restaurant in the town up the hill for dinner, and great helpful hosts. The minuses: You have to have a car to reach it since... More

Had a truly nice stay and definitely would recommend the place for anyone who is looking to experiencing some real welcoming Greek hospitality. Customer service went far beyond our expectations and if we had to pass by the area again we definitely would stay over again. The house is clean and nicely decorated throughout with a lot of original old... More
