I have just returned from Yiannis and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Yianni, Sevvy and their family were delightful hosts. The apartments are a 10 minute walk from the beach, the restaurants and the bars. There is a Supermarket 3 minutes away but it had limited supplies as it was the end of the season.

The apartment and surrounds were spotless and I understand that Yiannis has been full virtually all summer - more than can be said for other apartments. Kefalos has, I fear, suffered because of the recession, with a number of businesses already closed for the winter.

On Mondays Yianni & Sevvy provide a free barbeque with Greek dancing - not my thing but we met a number of other guests, including some from other nearby apartments. I suffered on Tuesday! Every time we visited the bar Sevvy provided a titbit - popcorn, coffee, icecream. Yianni even took us up to the old town of Kefalos. His daughters were also chatty as they speak better... more
