My wife and I spent 2 nights in the Caroline Room May 9-10, 2013. Anne was a gracious, friendly and excellent hostess for us. She welcomed us and made us feel at home. “great chateau experience”

located in outskirts of loire valley this chateau is for people (couples) who prefer romantic getaway in 19 century France chateau style of living. what makes this chateau special is: Madame Anne de Chateuau - great host and she add general old chateua experience also welcome personal touch (service, dinner cooking, communication skills..). “Cycling holiday”

My wife, brother and sister-in-law stayed here for two nights last year. The experience blew us away and I am embarrassed that it has taken so long to post this review. The rooms were just fantastic. “Gorgeous chateau and grounds with delights for all the senses”

My husband and I LOVED the Chateau de Chambiers. The Crouans made us feel welcome and so comfortable. Monsieur (Elie) grows amazing vegetables and Madame (Anne) makes such fresh, healthy, appetizing foods, ranging from modern, international, and natural dishes to classic French ones. “Horrible customer service, paying for things not provided.”

Horrible host and never had rooms cleaned or garbage picked up for two days, not given enough towels, ignored when asked for more. Water pressure horrible, ran out of water mid- shower. Cockroaches and bugs. No WiFi as advertised. If looking for a charming French getaway, do not stay here. Very expensive, not worth it.

As I told you at the time, we are very sorry that an unexpected plumbing problem arose during your stay. In response to your bringing this to our attention, we offered you xxx and you accepted this. The plumbing issue has of course been repaired. We regret that it affected your stay at our château. More

I reached the Chateau by train from Paris in 1 1/2 hours plus a taxi ride. For a history buff with a discrimating palate, this is heaven.
