The service at this excellent site amazing, the stunning beauty of this place was breathtaking. I love the service, very well designed, since it has a park for children, a pub for adults (children are allowed in) and a golf pitch, for the dads.It even has its own football pitch. My favourite part was definitely the nightlife, as when it... more

This was our second visit to Clippesby and there's no denying that it is a very well run, high standard campsite. It's easily the best equiped site we've been to and you'll be hard-pressed to find another of this quality. The pitches are all a very good size so no problems if, like us, you have a large tent. The... more

I stayed in the first week of the school holidays with pre-teenage children. This site is very much for people with children and I would not recommend it for those without. On the good side the location is lovely, very attractive park. Also it is run very efficiently. Any problems are dealt with immediately. Plenty of room to play. The... more

Fantastic site! Only problem is how will any other sites measure up from now on! Stayed in our folding camper with our two young children. I had tried 3 times before to get a pitch on this site but it was always full as it’s so popular. We decided to go outside of the school holidays so we were able... more

Traveled in April so park was basically empty. Stayed in one of the lodges. Was surprised with how spacious the park was but I guess this was because no-one was there. The lodges themselves were well equipped, could easily be warmed and the kids enjoyed the loft concept. Kids loved walking around and spotting the rabbits. Extremely relaxing standing out... more

I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Clippesby with my husband, sons aged 6 & 2yrs my parents and my sister and brother in law and their 7 month old daughter. We were greeted with a very warm welcome at the office from the owner of the site and were guided to our pitch by one of his... more

We visited this site this weekend and were hugely disappointed. Although the site appears on paper to have it all, what they fail to tell you is that there are very few showers i.e 6 for both men and women (total, not per sex)in one shower block and 6/8 in the other 2. This is completely inadequate for the size... more

Management response from

Comments in response to Trip Adviser After being told that the showers were filthy I went to take a look (10.30am Sunday). The cleaners were due to go there shortly. I found the showers clean except that the last people to use them had not used the mop and bucket provided to clean them. The hand towel bins were full...

This was our second stay at this campsite and we were excited about returning after the amazing time we had the first time. It didn't start well. There was a major mess up with our booking, the staff said they had emailed, telephoned and sent post to us but we hadn't responded so we had lost our booking. I can... more

This was our second visit to this delightful camp site. The pitches are very large. The site is divided up into individual areas, separated mature trees (or woods!) so there is no regimented 'sardine' like feel to this site at all. Even at busy times (we also stayed at Easter 2007) the site did not feel crowded. The facilities were... more
