We decided to go camping, spur of the moment and came across Clippesby Hall. We were very lucky to be able to book the last remaining pitch in The Dell. The pictures I had seen online didn't do the site justice. It was well kept, clean, with so many amenities but not a large impersonal site. The staff were friendly... More

Our last visit to Clippesby Hall was 15 years ago, with a small red MG and touring tent...we loved it then. Our recent visit was a real walk down memory lane but now with 4 kids and a larger camper van, and yet again, we loved it! Great place, friendly staff, lovely location, clean modern washing facilities and good value... More

My family stayed here for a 4 night break as a last minute getaway during half term. This was the off season and therefore deserted in terms of other holiday makers but this did not put off the staff at the reception from being exceptionally helpful. We hired bikes for a morning and were offered a series of small routes... More

I'll start by admitting I am not a camper and was rather unsure about how this trip would go, but Clippesby exceeded my best hopes by miles. You really couldn't ask for more from a campsite. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. The environment is particularly special as it seems like everyone cares about the site and the... More

Have just got back from a week camping at Clippesby Hall. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, and every time has been fantastic. The weather has been great. The showers have loads of hot water, and are thoroughly cleaned twice a day. Even when the site is busy there isn't too long a wait. The cafe does... More

There is nothing negative to say about this site. Plenty to do for sporty boys...bike hire, swimming pool, tennis, crazy golf, table tennis, play equipement. Tent pitch big and private, we stayed in Rabbits area, which is all weather with own water and electricity, surrounded by trees. Toilets and showers cleaned 3 times a day, and mops provided for you... More

This was our second time camping at Clippesby and although the weather was not great the children just loved it. Really well looked after and so much to do on site. Booked again for next year. Highly recommend it!

I booked this campsite after viewing their website and reading reviews on here. We were greeted by friendly reception staff and given a welcome pack which was really helpful, then told to wait for the Ranger who would show us to our pitch! Very impressed. Our pitch was in the Old Orchard and just down from the toilet block, brilliant.... More

Hired a 3 bedroomed "Pine Lodge" @ Clippesby Hall for 1 week, travelling with wife, teenage son and father-in-law (81). On arrival we went to reception. Very cheerful staff, efficient and well organised procedures. Our lodge, which slept 6, was very clean with good fixtures and fittings. Lovely raised deck with patio set and smashing views. The lodge had a... More
