You're coming back for a third time! Gluttons for punishment! Seriously though, we love your company. Looking forward to getting Pete out on the hiking trails around Monti Rognosi. We've discovered some great spots. See you in September. More

We stayed at Tenuta in June/July 2012. This was the most relaxing holiday ever. From the moment we arrived Jon and Paul were wonderful hosts. Our room was beautiful and a lovely retreat after a long day sightseeing. On our first evening we enjoyed a glass of prosecco in the garden followed by a delicious dinner prepared by Jon. This... Sept 2012: This was our second visit to Tenuta. We had the same warm welcome from Jon and Paul and 'Le Stelle' was just as good as we remembered. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area look no further, this place really can't be bettered!

Thanks for returning to us two years running! It's been heartening to have people coming back. It's like friends visiting! You'd clearly done a lot of homework between visits and a lot of planning too. If my memory serves me well you were out and about most days. We hope all is well with you over in the UK and... More

Tenuta Savorgnano is the perfect place for a relaxing break away from it all. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment called 'Le Stelle' - it had everything we needed and we were very comfortable during our stay. We ate in the B&B on one evening - the vegetarian food was delicious and interesting stories were shared over a glass... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review. If you're happy we're happy. Saving Pisa for the last day is a good idea if flight times permit, especially if your main focus is going to be the tower. Thanks for recommending us to family and friends too. Personal recommendations are always the best. Hope we see you again some time.... More

Well then, where to start? The B&B rooms are delightful in the main house, choose Il Giglio if you want a nice big bathroom. The apartments are lovely too.... choose La Luna for best outside space or Il Sole for tasteful delight. The pool, put in a pre visit request and the boys may even heat it for you....ha! Your... Tenuta Savorgnano was one of the most gorgeous places I have ever stayed. The scenery is breathtaking be it form your room, the dinner table, or the huge swimming pool. It was the perfect peaceful country retreat. I couldn't get over how carefully chosen every aspect of this inn was- from the fresh food to the natural fibers in the... More

Thanks Mandi. I was thrilled to get the thumbs up from you on the food! I've looked at the website for your bakery in Ottawa and it looks top class. Recently we've made friends with a Canadian guy who lives in Anghiari for half the year! Guess what? He lives around the corner from the bakery. Expect him when he's... More

Thoroughly recommended....a very warm welcome from Jonathan and Paul was a great start to our holiday....five stars for everything and as the temperature was creeping past 40 degrees would award six stars for the comparatively chilly swimming pool (still about 26 degrees) which was wonderful way of cooling down after a day out. The setting in amongst wooded hills, with... More

Thanks for the good review Nic. As you mention it was boiling hot for a long period last summer. I think it was over 40 degrees some days. Thanks for re-booking too! Look forward to seeing you in May when I think you'll find the weather more temperate. More

Tenuta Savorgnano, hidden in the Tuscan hills, is a wonderful haven of a holiday. There are two methods of staying, B & B, and self catering apartments. This has been our third trip, and we have always stayed in the apartments. In terms of the situation, you could not be better placed to explore Tuscany. Within easy driving distances are... More

Thanks for the very kind comments. I feel compelled to point out that Puglia would involve a fourteen hour round trip so I think you must've meant Perugia - famous for chocolate - which is a more manageable one hour away! Nice to see people returning to us. More
