I agree with the other reviewers that the Tongariro Crossing two-night package offered by this motel is great value and makes the whole experience pretty effortless (assuming that the weather is good, which in our case it wasn't unfortunately). The 2 night package really is extraordinary good value, nothing left to worry about except the weather. The most friendly and helpful staff here. We had the double en suite room and it was very comfy, with an excellent bathroom, and the heaters kept it nice and warm. Really clean, well run motel with a backpackers' section. We stayed in a motel studio room which had a kitchenette with microwave and fridge and ensuite. It was spacious and clean. The cooked breakfast and dinners were delicious. Transport to the Tongariro crossing was provided. Owners very friendly. Spa pool very clean. Highly recommended I would definately stay here again more

The room where my family stayed contained 3 x single beds and 1 x double bed - which makes it ideal for families with 3 children as you don't often see rooms with this many beds already set up. This motel/hostel served as our base while in the area to do the Tongariro Crossing. We booked their Adventure package which includes transportation to and from the hike, 2 nights accommodations, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, and 1 fantastic packed lunch.
