After struggling to find the hotel (having inputted just "Normanville" into the GPS), we managed to locate the actual address at the bottom of a suitcase and found the hotel without too many difficulties. Some signs in Normanville itself would have been helpful. Check-in was fine and after having read previous reviews, we parked the car without unloading outside reception.... more

We stayed here for two nights, the resort is easy to find in Normanville, placed at the back of the golf course with amazing view to the ocean. We had a king room with spa, the room had was clean with nice furniture, and a huge bathroom. Room has a fridge, microwave and sink, plus bench area. We used the... more

I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Grand Mercure Links Lady Bay, and I could've easily stayed for another two. I parked my car in the hotel car park (a spot opposite the reception area), unpacked the car and headed towards the building. I was met by not one, but two, sets of doors that you had to manually... more

Self and spouse used the hotel as an Interval International timeshare exchange intendedly for 7-nights. We stayed 5-nights at our choosing. Great place for golfers who probably would wish to never leave. For non-golfers probably 4 nights would be sufficient giving 3-days for local travel for there are 3 variables. Two local villages, Kangaroo Island (rental cars not allowed by... more

The hotel facilities are modern and clean. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful and are willing to get you information on local attractions. A great location next to a great beach and good facilities e.g. tennis courts Our only complaint relates to the quality of customer service in the restaurant/bar. One barman was rude and very unfriendly... more

Stayed there just as it opened, and felt very priveleged to be one of the first guests, they were still doing the gardens....got a good price with a spa, and the staff were most helpful (back then) I guess being there in the heat of summer probably would be different but try Carrakalinga/ Normanville beaches - the Bakery in Normanville... more

I was interested to see 3 reviews of this hotel, 2 favourable and 1 not. My own experience here was not favourable, and I do agree that the hotel does not measure up to the impression given on the Accor website. When I stayed the hotel was still in the building process with no swimming pool etc completed. This is... more

I have not left the hotel yet and i wait until holiday end, before a review. However. The last review was 4 a "terrible" rating score and in defense of the Links. We arrived as refugees from the cyclone hitting Brisbane and faced with limited hotel availability we ran into the links by accident. This hotel is great, Its new,... more

The advertising for this hotel overrates the views, services and facilities and is misleading about the proximity to the beach. The hotel is a big ugly new development which looks out over other ugly appartment developments on the golf course - it is not a relaxing or romantic place to stay and is NOT close (ie not really walking distance)... more

My husband and I stayed at this new hotel on the Fleurieu Penisula about an hour south of Adelaide for two nights. We really enjoyed the modern, spacious and very comfortable suite and the friendly staff. The hotel itself is also modern and comfortable with the only disconcerting feature perhaps the reception area where all the staff plus lots of... more
