The Hilton Portarosa is an excellent addition to the Hilton family. It's main possible disadvantage is the time & expense taken to reach it from the nearest airports in Catania & Palermo. Went here for a conference, which was fine but would I shell out for a holiday out of my own pocket for this place? No way. Long transfer from either airports, takes you to the middle of absolutely nowhere. There is very little on offer in terms of eating and drinking outside the hotel (that may change over coming years).... more

Spent 2 weeks in this new hotel, as you'd expect rooms were well furnished and first impresssions were good. However, se time wore on the cracks began to show!
