We arrived late in the evening on the night before Valentine's Day. As we got out of the car after a torturous journey, someone who could fairly be described as one of many (we were to find out later) village idiots, drunk and smoking at the entrance door, greeted us by surname swaying and slurring for good measure. What was... more
I stayed over easter at the Manor with my family. The public areas are fine, nice bar and lovely TV lounge ,but our room was very outdated and a bit threadbare. The new owners took over the hotel in August this year and appreciate that much work needs to be done. They have plans for much improvement... more
I have only just found this website after my stay at the hotel. If i had seen this before i would have not gone, and that would have been a terrible shame!! I have always looked at reviews and taken them with a pinch of salt, believing that people who have had an ejoyable experience rarely write....How wrong I was this time! All the reviews I read said how bad this hotel was..they weren't wrong. I booked the hotel and asked for a ground or first floor room as I was with... more
