I stayed over easter at the Manor with my family. The public areas are fine, nice bar and lovely TV lounge ,but our room was very outdated and a bit threadbare. This was our second stay at the Manor, and my how things have changed since our previous visit 5 years ago. New management in past 8 months, very warm welcome by them. My wife and I stayed one night at the Manor House Hotel in October 2008. Having read some of the poor reviews we were rather apprehensive but were pleasantly surprised at the recent improvements. I have only just found this website after my stay at the hotel. If i had seen this before i would have not gone, and that would have been a terrible shame!!
