We chose Namenlos & Fischerwiege as a base for tours to the surrounding Baltic Sea coast and surroundings. It belongs to the Romantik Hotel group and does live up to this standard. But be aware that the picture that is published in its brochures hides the fact that the hotel has a very large and prominent antennae on the hill directly behind it and that the wonderful pristine beach shown so close to the hotel are actually about a 5 minute walk and across the main road. A little bit deceptive here. Also, the restaurant where the meals are served for the half-board are at a separate building about a 4 minute walk away. All that having been said, the hotel offers amply-sized rooms well-situated for beach access. The food was acceptable and wait staff nice enough. We felt that we had made a good choice for our first visit to the area and would probably stay here again avoiding the more family-oriented, more crowded areas like Zingst.
