The new (2009) Woodland Lodges in the Blair Castle estate are spacious, very comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated - very clean lines and neutral decor. We've stayed at Blair Castle caravan park in their static vans on 2 occasions now (June 07 and Oct 08) and will return again in May 09. Having camped in various sites throughout the world I thought this site was great. Our booking was handled efficiently and we were given lots of info etc when we checked in. Yes the tent was expected to be pitched in a certain way but only with the door at a certain angle (nothing new there). Our pitch was on flat... more

Park is easy to find off A9 road. Staff on site are mostly helpful and friendly. Major concern we had was with the toilet facilities. Our part of the site had only two shower cubilces for a very large number of tents. The site is kept clean by staff even in light of 'inconsiderates' who leave their filth behind for... more
