JM Santa Pola is a good 3* hotel understaffed & poorly maintained. Good reception, clean rooms, food was consistently cold. We stayed here for a night after a late flight into Alicante airport. Hotel was very easy to find being right on the side of the Alicante/Cartagena road. Very pleasant check-in - they speak great English! Rooms big with nice balcony, but paper-thin walls so you may or may not get much sleep depending on how late others stay up.... more
