We arrived at Zambrone station after a 40 min transfer from the airport and there was no evidence of the alleged ' shuttle bus' to the complex nor in the whole time we were there did we see one. The problem with this is that without a car its over 1 km up a mountain to the complex with no directions or road signs! after finally finding the complex we found it is very pleasant and secure with a coded entrance for when the office was shut. The villas are basic and quite small but had everything we needed. There is also a decent sized 'unheated' pool. Breakfast which you pay extra for was very basic and very sweet with no fruit offered. The complex was run by a english speaking lady who was always helpful although slightly misleading when she offered us to approach her for ' lifts' down to Zambrone as the ony time we ever asked she refused without explanation.
