We enjoyed our stay here although it felt damp (it is in the cloud forest) and there was no A/C or dehumidifier to dry the room out. We moved to El Establo where friends were staying after a disappointing experience at Monteverde Lodge. My husband stayed here after staying in a cabina in Montezuma and felt like we were in paradise. We had a wonderful experience at El Establo on our recent vacation. Our room was very large (had second bed in above loft) and clean, and had great views of the hotel grounds and the mountains from the private balcony.
