First of all DO NOT PREPAY via PAYPAL as you will never get your money back. This place is the biggest rip-off. Horribly dirty, mold everywhere; not just the tree kind of mold, it's the dangerous black mold that can cause lung disease. I really enjoyed my stay at the Villa Verde. We stayed in a villa, where there was a great, furnished living area and kitchen (with coffee maker, glasses, and fridge). We stayed here for two nights. The stench from the bathroom was so bad my 12 year old wouldn't use it. Very dark,damp and cold rooms. Food was terrible. They gave us frozen pizza for dinner. Did lots of hiking just to stay out of the room. more

Pluses--this hotel is really close to MOnteverde Cloud Forest and it has a wonderful dining room. But the rooms had large holes in the window screens, broken jalousie windows, no bedside lighting (just 1 overhead)in room coffee maker with no coffee and chipped mugs and curtains & rod that fell off wall when I tried to close it.
