This was a great resort but a horrible value. The room was expensive for this part of the world but they get away with it because such little competition. But what really got me was the prices in the gift shop. 2 AA batteries - $15! OMG, I paid $8 for 4 AA batteries at a stand in the middle... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days at the Marriott, but thought that two days was probably long enough. We had booked the cheapest possible room through Octopus Travel on Tripadvisor but, when we arrived, Reception offered to upgrade our room if we were willing to take a twin room. We accepted and had a wonderful room with a view of... more

Spent two nights at the Marriot and was very pleased by the level of service, the rooms and facilities at the hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant on the whole, and the complex is so large you could explore all day. Three pools I could see (one was adults only - very pleasing to see), plus direct access to a... more

Though short notice like calling them early morning to book, they have managed to arranged everything for us. My boyfriend is picky with the food but he loved the buffet they served. The massage also at the spa is relaxing like you want to stay there for the whole day. And thanks to the lifeguard for giving us souvenirs from... more

An unexpected night of luxury as this was not on our planned itinary. Lovely hotel, very comfortable rooms, excellent food and the experience of floating in the dea sea. Only here one night and the weather wasn't great, but the outdoor pool areas looked very nice. more

We have stayed at this resort more times than I can count and have always liked it although it is really pricy. Champions rest. and Oasis outdoors cafe are the best! Here's the catch: don't plan to bring in ANYTHING edible. This place is rather isolated - no shops nearby. We bring biscuits, nuts, chips and bottled water with us... more

We stayed three nights at the Marriott Dead Sea and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Good dining, lovely pools and grounds for all ages. Insist on a "taxi" (NOT Hertz) for transportation to the airport. Hertz is a little pricy. more

Just returned from a week trip to Jordan. We spent first five days in Kempinsky Aquaba Hotel - absolutely fantastic stay, ambiance and service. The remaining two days stayed at Marriott Dead Sea. All in all a good hotel with impressive and beautiful grounds, tennis court, etc. The hotel was busy at the time as there was a conference of... more

Location, facilities, services, free upgrades, staff, top notch!!!. It was not expensive anyways compare to the neighbors. A little construction noise in the area but it is not the hotel's fault. more

We really enjoyed our time at the Marriott. We had the nice surprise to be upgraded to a suite which was great being with our 2 children. The swimming pools are really pleasant and it is also really nice to have one pool reserved for hotel residents. Service is very good but expected from such category hotel. more
