This was an extremely good experience and the hospitality was superb! It took us a while to find from the road, but once we arrived, the view took my breath away! We only had one night there which was a shame, as i could have enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere for longer. The personal touches made my stay very memorable and... More

Situated on a cardamom plantation ("Peak Gardens"), at an elevation of around 1500 meters, on the road down from Munnar towards Tamil Nadu, this homestay consists of a bungalow with several good size en-suite rooms and some nearby "cottage" accommodation. The terrace at the bungalow has a spectacular view over a drop in the mountains. We enjoyed the evening meal... More

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. To reach Munnar, one has to endure crazy winding narrow roads with two way traffic but it is worth it! The location of this place is further away from Munnar town and is tucked quietly on hilltop with magnificent views. Watching the sunset at the garden was amazing and that was when my partner proposed... More

We stayed here for two nights and the room was absolutely beautiful. Lovely attention to detail and a haven after a very long car journey - be warned - make sure you arrive in daylight! Our hosts were incredibly helpful and the food was superb. I'd highly recommend this as an option outside of Munnar, but within easy reach of... More

We stayed here for one night in Nov 2012, I only wish it could have been for longer. Amazing location right up in the hills, tranquil and serene. I felt totally relaxed within 5 minutes of arrival. The views were just amazing as it is situated within a cardamom plantation you also have the opportunity for a guided tour with... More

We visited Casa Del Fauno, during one of our occasional friends and family trips. I have heard of this facility from colleagues with whom i have worked and decided to stay here for two nights which probably is the best decision i have made in a very long time in selecting a place of stay during a trip. The facility... More

We stayed at Casa Del Fauno for 2 nights in February 2012. The views there are amazing, especially from the relaxing veranda, at which the staff will happily bring you drinks. Every night the staff cook dinner for the guests (served at separate tables). The food was excellent - delicious Keralan chicken and fish curries. The room we stayed in... More

This felt like a haven as soon as I walked through the door. The house is delightful, so restful, beautifully furnished, ensuite bedroom lovely with patio doors leading out into the garden with the most stunning views across the hills. This was my favourite bit, reclining on chairs in the garden with the solitude of such peaceful surroundings. Whilst I... More

This lovely home stay is simply great. While getting to the house you might think, where is this street leading us to, but once you arrive at that house you realize why it had to go this way. A very nice, kind a "ski resort" kind of house (stone basement with wooden roof) appears and offers you a fantastic view... More
