As the previous review states, the approach road is not what you'd expect. About 2 miles of single track road, climbing all the time. The building is clearly a converted barn and looks it but the conversion has been very well done. Our room was pretty spacious and well equipped even having a small table top ironing board in the... more

As you drive up the winding roads looking at the beautiful countryside, you start to think that the Sat Nav must be taking you to the wrong place. When the road stops at an old disused barn, you know the Sat Nav has lost the plot, but keep going – it’s worth it. I work with a somewhat demanding film... more

We have just returned from our second visit to The Bringewood and once again we had a perfect weekend with a wonderful welcome. The Bringewood is set in a peaceful location, with amazing views. The rooms are lovely and the restaurant is the perfect place to eat whether it is for a romantic meal, a family celebration or a get... more

Well where do I start, its hard to describe in words about our stay at a place that is so amazing, you'd have to stay there yourself to believe it! We had our wedding here on 3rd May 2008 and they made our day the best day of our lives, we couldn't have asked for more. We went back up... more

We recently spent 4 nights at The Bringewood on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. The wonderful location was probably the biggest plus for us. The food was fine, the room was great and the interior throughout was extremely well thought out and designed. It was nice to visit somewhere a little different from the tradional offering at this price... more

Management response from

The correct explanation for the error was not the internet or booking system, but the information had not been correctly written on the paper hardcopy, used by the Duty Manager. This was explained to the guest and an apology accepted with: The guest recieving a free upgrade for the 3 (not 4 nights as in review) nights they stayed at The...

Stopped for one night and the whole experience was a joy. The room, food and views were simply lovely. The manager Neil, was attentive and really helpful. If you are considering staying here, just do it. You will not be disappointed. One point to mention is the location. Whilst only a few miles from Ludlow, it is quite remote and... more

Truly enjoyed our weekend at the Bringewood, where a party of us celebrated a special birthday. The hotel is situated in a tranquil spot, 9km west of Ludlow, amidst beautiful countryside. We found the staff friendly and convivial and the food first rate. A log burning stove kept the bar and lounge areas warm and cosy - it was March... more

We booked this hotel for a birthday celebration, and it didn't fail to impress, we had a fantastic weekend! Our room (a superior double) was very spacious with all the amenities you could ask for - including a Playstation 2 with a selection of games and DVD's available, and a Tassimo tea/coffee maker. The decor was modern yet still very... more

We've just returned from our second stay at the Bringewood, and it was as great as ever. We first discovered this out-of-way, beautifully set B&B in March 2008 and enjoyed it so much we were determined to return. We somehow never got round to submitting a review but after having had an even better stay this time round we feel... more

We chose this hotel for its excellent location and beautiful countryside but not too far from the local attractions of Ludlow Castle and Town. On arrival we were greeted by Steve who showed us to our immaculate accommodation and offered us tea and homemade biscuits by the roaring log fire in the lounge . The Valentine menu was simply stunning... more
