My husband and I stayed at the Bringewood for 2 nights recently on our first visit to Ludlow. The hotel was an easy drive from Ludlow and located in the countryside. We booked a superior room which had a large comfortable bed with a duvet. The room felt new and fresh which was a great change from the usual musty... more

We stayed at the Bringewood for just one night on this trip but will definitiely be visiting again. After driving along increasingly minor roards into the depth of the Shropshire countryside we had a friendly and helpful welcome, including being provied with a map to enable us to take a walk in the surrounding countryside. The location of the hotel... more

If you want to stay in the Ludlow area then you must put The Bringewood on your shortlist. We have just spent two nights there as part of our Wedding Anniversary and it more than lived up to the expecations created by previous reviews we read on Tripadvisor. The Bringewood is a bit out in the wilds and there is... more

We (a party of four adults) booked lunch here to celebrate my mum-in-laws' 79th birthday. Our first impresions were very pleasant indeed. The restaurant (and hotel) itself is very nicely situated in the countryside with beautiful views. The car parking facilities are ample. Before entering, we noticed that there is seating outside the restaurant for those who might wish to... more

Enjoyed a fabulous weekend with friends away from our children and could not have picked a better place for a relaxing break. Accommodation is very comfortable (Molton Brown products, fluffy towels, playstations in your room -even hair straighteners).Location is fabulous - whilst you really are isolated, the views are worth it and the owners are more than happy to take... more

When we read the reviews on The Bringewood website, we did wonder if the 5 out of 5 ratings where a little exaggerated. We were more than pleasantly surprised to find that this was not the case. The hotel was superb, with quality furnishings throughout. The surrounding views from the hotel are amazing. Steve and Neil, our hosts, were friendly,... more

We stayed at the Bringewood for one night entertaining business clients and could not have asked for any better service and surroundings. The Bringewood is in a fantastic position - you really are away from it all. The rooms are contemporary and clean and the service is excellent. The restaurant and bar are a comfortable experience and the food is... more

My husband booked a room for my birthday in December. We received email confirmation. A couple of days later he emailed to reserve a table in the restaurant for the same night. Once again we received email confirmation. However, a few days later we received an email saying that due to 'an internet booking error' our reservations had been cancelled.... more

Management response from
NeilBGWD, General Manager

The Bringewood had on line booking & other technical issues which took 3-4 days to restore, which led to double bookings being made. The Bringewood apologised & offered customers who had bookings cancelled due to the circumstances alternative dates & or reccommended other local hotels. The Bringewood aim is to provide a quality service, and an easy internet on line...
