  "We stayed at sonnleitn over half term. We were a group of 17 which included 11 adults and 6 children. Craig and Katherine were fantastic hosts! When selecting our ski accommodation we look for value for money and I don't think you'll beat this pension on price! There is a main dining room where you ..."have breakfast which is buffet style including cereals, fruit, cheeses, meats, yogurt, eggs, fresh breads and jams. This is also where you have your evening meal. Katherine is an excellent cook and the food was delicious and plentiful as was the wine! We mentioned one night we (the girls) were partial to a glass of processco, the next day Craig produced several bottles! The rooms were spotless and after a long day skiing there was always plenty of hot water! The kids absolutely loved the games room, we hardly saw them! Craig arranged everything for us from our transfer from the airport (we flew into Venice and we saved a packet although we had a 2.45 transfer!!!) ski hire and ski passes! Cra... " More >

  "We were a little disconcerted when our car was checked for snow tyres on the way up to the hotel by the police. A blizzard was blowing and the road up was NOT pleasant. However the welcome was warm ! (in winter best to choose the paid underground car park rather than the free outside car park !). ..."The family room was ideal with a small room with bunk beds for the boys, double bedroom for us and a living area for us all. The views the next day were just stunning ! Skiing almost straight from the door of the hotel - ideal. Our only negative point was that at meal times the buffet was packed - but we were there during Europe's half term and the hotel was full. The spa area was a great place to chill out after a heavy days skiing and the swimming pool (part outside in the snow) was a place to be remembered by our children for some time (notably the snow ball fights in the outside pool.   "Our party consisted of a family and friends group of 11, all adults. Ryanair flights from Stanstead to Klagenfurt meant a short transfer time to our accomodation (less than 1 hour). All the previous reviews had been favourable, without exception and this one is another to add to the list. Craig, Kat..."harine and their team were great hosts. The place is spotlessly clean, the food was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them and everything was done with a smile. Craig organised our airport transfers, ski passes, ski hire and with whatever we needed to enjoy the resort to the full. To get to and from the slopes is a just short bus trip, with stops very close to the Pension. The slopes themselves are predominantly red, but there are some good blues too, plus a few blacks. On the mountains there are plenty of very good restaurant and bars. Apre ski is limited, but available. We had a great time and will happily recommend to others. " More >
