  "A little old-fashioned (or trendy said: "retro feeling of the 80's"), but clean hotel. Inspite the close main road the room was quiet. Breakfast was a little bit boring, always the same. I can't rate the pool because we didn't use it - we came here for the Balaton, not for the pool."

Critically, the del Porto has a really fine manager, who in our case went far out of his way to help up out with a really challenge: finding someone in the village after 35 years without any contact. The hotel is well located in town, and is well away from the main road. Trains run occasionally fairly close by but do so rather quietly. The tran station is quite close by, as are places to eat. Very friendly, excellent location, (direct access to the lake, close to the marina and restaurants, shops) good food, very classy, nice big rooms, closed and secure parking lot.
