  "A great house with a great view. Close to the pretty village center. The house has a nice interior and the pool area looked nice (but it was closed then we were there, too early in the spring)."

  "The arrival wasn't as planned, secure parking is at a premium in Pornic with it's narrow, steep streets, but there is a metal gate 'stop' in the centre of the entrance to the hotel car park. If you drive a modern car - no problem - but in a classic sports car your arrival is announced by a loud 'cl..."ang' followed by a nervous crawl under the car to see what damage has been done! Luckily none. The reception staff are welcoming and helpful. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the car park - not the best view in the World, but away from the traffic noise. A tiny balcony which would be just big enough for two people to sit out on - if there was more than one chair in the room. The reason there isn't is that the rooms are small - the hotel appears to be used by commercial travellers who arrive quite late and are gone early.
