Thus, make sure you see their Japanese name, otherwise, you won't be able to locate this hotel. Upon reaching, the hotel staffs were very courteous and friendly and tried their best in explaining to us how to hotel works and what was the operating hours of the onsen and all, in Japanese of course. Our room did not have showering facilities, only the toilet itself. We were initially kind of surprised, but it didn't really matter because we had used the hotel's onsen and therefore took a shower at the onsen area afterwards. Thus, it didnt' caused us any problem.   "Ryokan was very small and took a little effort to find it, even with the GPS. Facade and decor of ryokan was a little dated, and room was small. However, service was excellent despite limited English spoken by the staff. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast, both served in the room, were elaborate and l..."ovely. Note that you'll have to sleep on a futon in the room and that may not be for everyone. We didn't have any problems getting access to the baths. Really lovely place.
