  "Our stay at The Bangala was short but delightful. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the bathrooms well appointed, although the shower gel and shampoo had not been refilled which was a bit of an oversight. However, the most charming aspect of this hotel is the restaurant. The food is absolutely s..."uperb and, although there is no menu choice, dishes are traditional Chettinad cuisine which was delicious. The servers were incredibly attentive and, as several of the party were still feeling rather 'delicate' with little appetite (from meals certainly NOT taken at The Bangala, I hasten to add!) they were keen to ensure that we were all catered for. It was a lovely touch that the owner ate in her own restaurant every evening and mingled with the guests. The pool was warm and clean, with plenty of loungers and chairs in both sun and shade, and plenty of towels.
