  "Traveling with friends, we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this homey inn. Paco and Lola are indeed gracious, and the food at breakfast and dinner excellent and authentic. The inn itself is a bit quirky with small rooms and bathrooms, not quite enough lighting, and beds that are just barely..." comfortable. But the terrace with view of the gorge, the personal service, and the fact that this is not a cookie-cutter hotel make it a great experience. Be forewarned that it is a long hour to Grenada, then tricky to find a parking garage once you're off the main highway and in the city. Then it's a long drive back at night if you choose to eat in the city; then it's a drive to get to your next destination. Staying in Alhama thus costs you some time, but it takes you to a part of Andalucia you might miss otherwise.c " More >

There are excellent views across the peaceful Tajos gorges behind La Seguriya from the very pleasant small terrace, a great place to have dinner. Food is very good, and there are comfortable interior areas to eat and drink. Bedrooms are individual, a little eccentric but very comfortable. Each of our stays have been at the beginning and end of cycle tours, and it is a prime base for this. La Seguriya will particularly appeal to those looking for charm and comfort in a traditional and unspoilt part of Andalucía. " More >
